Collaborate to Advance Pipeline Integrity

The Banff Pipeline Workshop is built by the collaborators. Volunteering at BPW contributes directly to the technical conversations, shared learning, and collaborative problem‑solving that advance pipeline integrity across the industry.

Our mission is to build a collaborative network that brings together technical experts and industry leaders from all facets of energy transportation to ideate, incubate, and launch positive change. Volunteers play an essential role in shaping the technical program, guiding discussion, and ensuring the workshop delivers meaningful outcomes for the entire community.

Collaboration Opportunities

Working Group Leads - Shape the technical direction of the workshop by selecting topics, setting discussion objectives, selecting and coordinating discussion leads, and guiding discussions that address complex pipeline integrity challenges and drive industry progress.

Rapporteurs - Support Working Group Leads by capturing key insights and outcomes during the sessions, and support documentation of the proceedings for benefit of all attendees.  Build deep technical knowledge and prepare for future leadership roles within BPW.

Discussion Leaders - During the sessions, address the group by contributing food-for-thought and add subject‑matter expertise to panel discussions and technical sessions. Engage participants, challenge thinking, and help advance meaningful, experience‑based dialogue.

Session Facilitators - Assist with Working Group session preparation and in‑room facilitation for the session. Help refine topics, coordinate participants, and ensure focused, inclusive, and productive discussions.

Tutorial Presenters - Deliver focused learning sessions that build technical capability, share emerging knowledge, and strengthen understanding across the BPW community.
