Building upon Session A, this session will apply HOP principles to current pipeline issues via mini case studies. The session will explore how human and organizational factors can be utilized to identify insights about the functioning of a company’s safety system and culture. The discussion will consider how the human and organizational performance lens can be applied in proactive safety management efforts and reactively, following a near miss or incident, in support of effective risk management, organizational learning, and continual improvement.
