Taking the knowledge from the tutorial we will discuss how we can improve design accuracy, flexibility and constructability of mitigations. Design inputs to stress analysis can vary significantly from site conditions (e.g., soil conditions, alignment) and construction techniques (e.g., installation methods, grading). Mitigation techniques recommended during design may be challenging to construct, or construction methods may not reflect design assumptions. Closing the gap between the inputs and construction methods will create more efficient and cost-effective projects.
Who Should Attend?
This session should be attended by pipeline design engineers, construction engineer, project managers and integrity professionals who work with installing new or replacement buried piping.
